Is it ok that I sent this girl flowers. just want to make her smile?

I hung out with her twice which was a few months ago. We really got along well, but I didn%26#039;t try to keep in touch and she%26#039;s shy, so she didn%26#039;t either. A few nights ago I saw her at a party and forgot her name. She seemed to get mad because of it. Anyway, I realized that night that I really liked her. I asked her for her number to catch up to which she replied %26quot;We only hung out twice, lol, you%26#039;re very interesting.%26quot; She didn%26#039;t give me the number, but anyway, she%26#039;s going through a tough time right now, her friend is in the hospital and I sent her a bouquet of flowers (not roses) and said on the card %26quot;smile, kassi%26quot; and i put %26quot;from the guy who is very sorry he forgot your name%26quot; to cheer her up. I just want to make her smile. Is it ok that I did this, or is because we don%26#039;t know each other that well it a bad move??

Reply:there is never anything wrong with sending a girl flowers. that was just darling of you especially since you don%26#039;t know her well. most people wouldn%26#039;t think to send flowers to someone they didn%26#039;t know well. maybe she will come around once you let her know you realized what an idiot you were for not staying in touch.
