What is up w/ men who don't send flowers?

Every time a girl gets flowers it makes me jealous. I haven%26#039;t gotten any from my bf in almost 2 years, and I%26#039;ve only gotten them from him 2X the entire time we%26#039;ve been together. He says he isn%26#039;t the type. Well why doesn%26#039;t he get that its not about him!? Its petty and selfish but I want some damn flowers!

I don%26#039;t know why they don%26#039;t get it. It means so much to us and let%26#039;s face it ordering flowers takes such little effort. What does %26quot;I%26#039;m not that type of guy mean?%26quot; You don%26#039;t like to see your girlfriend happy?.....MEN!

Reply:Well, you could hint that you love a certain flower, and he might follow up for an anniversary or something. But some guys just aren%26#039;t the romantic type - that%26#039;s not a bad thing at all, it means that he%26#039;s probably more down-to-earth and thinks that flowers are cheesy.
Reply:Then date a guy who%26#039;s into sending flowers. God, is that so hard for you to figure out? Suppose he sent you a live goat or something like that? Would that be okay? At least you could have the milk and eventually eat the goat at your wedding reception.
Reply:unless he%26#039;s laid off your supposed to send flowers now and then! doesnt have to be a full boquet, you can mix and match a few or send a single long stemmed rose.
Reply:Does he do other nice things for you? Maybe pick up your favorite dinner or snack and come over and surprise you with it or maybe surprise you and take you to your favorite concert? Some guys may do stuff like that rather than flowers. Lots of girls and guys say flowers are a waste of money, you spend $50 bucks and their dead a week later. Lots of girls would rather have the guy spend the money on taking them to dinner or something instead of flowers. I tend to get my gf flowers every month or two just so she knows I don%26#039;t take her for grantid. I guess your situation is a little different since you%26#039;ve been together for so long but lots of girls, younger ones especially, don%26#039;t appreciate flowers, they think it%26#039;s going overboard or too sappy or something. I stopped sending flowers to girls a while back because it seemed they weren%26#039;t appreciated.
