Are there fragrant California endemic flowers that are easily distinguishable from other flowers?

In other words are their fragrant California endemic flowers that either:





1) Look very much different from other flowers, but have a very much different fragrance or even a simalar fragrance from another flower.





2) Look the same or very similar to another flower but has a very much different fragrance from that flower

Your question reminds me of the time while driving with my husband I tried to describe a wildflower I'd seen as "just like those, but completely different." He immediately broke into laughter.
