Wedding Flowers??

My wedding colors are wine and gold and Im having a hard time finding good flowers. I plan on spray painting some feathers gold to mix with some purple/wine flowers and now all I need is some good suggestions for flowers. Any ideas?

Wedding Flowers??
Those are peonies. Smell wonderful, although might be hard to find, when is the wedding?
Reply:The ones in the picture look like maybe peonies. You aren't going to find any gold flowers. I would suggest using ribbons to add in your gold. As for the wine, if you are looking for live flowers, many varieties of red roses are actually a wine color - ask your local florist. Other live flowers that come in burgundy (wine) are carnations, snap dragons, gladiolas. (I'm sure there are others - that's all I can think off right off)
Reply:you may see purple, but the colors in the photos are wine/burgandy. They could be roses or chrysanthemums. It's hard to tell with them squished like that in bad photos.





It's hard to spray paint feathers gold, they tend to stick together. Why not just order them gold (they come dyed the color you want).





Chrysamthemums, roses, dahlias, iris, orchids, all come in wine/burgandy colors.
