Ladies...assorted flowers or tulips?

what kind of flowers should i get for my 1 month gf? i'm not at the romance stage yet so i dont want to get her roses and give her the wrong idea...i do however want to get her flowers

assorted tulips have been hard to find for me, so would it be okay if i got her assorted other kind of flowers? like a mix of daisys, lillies, and some other ones?

also, what flowers do i avoid? which ones should i try for excluding roses (the flower of love)

also, do i get her a teddy bear or no?

overall, i dont want to freak her out. thanks.

Tulips in her favorite color, a teddy bear, and a box of chocolate, good chocolate, would be a great gift.
Reply:go to florist and find a nice mixed bouquet, i think that would be just fine. daisies smell bad though, keep that in mind.

go to proflowers.com for some ideas and visuals.

but... if i got a teddy bear... i wouldn't know what to do with it. i would probably shove it in a closet or something. or give it to goodwill.
Reply:tulips.
Reply:find out what her fav. kind of flowers are (from one of her friends or something), and get her those

and i think the teddt bear thing is cute :)
Reply:I LOVE daisies and lilies. Go for assorted I'd say.
Reply:yeah tulips and Daisy's would be nice.give her some chocolates also

good question
Reply:tulips are lovely
Reply:I love tulips. Other assorted flowers are okay, but carnations suck. They are like a cheap version of roses. I just really don't like them. If you get her a teddy bear, get her a nice one. Not the cheap kind like you get from one of the arcade machines.
Reply:yes, i would say a mixed flower arrangement would be fine.

You might also want to talk to your local florist-while you're picking out the flowers.

or you could give her not-red roses.

go for a small teddy bear or chocolate! most girls/people like chocolate.
