Picking flowers?

So i made a big mistake this morning with my girlfriend....

I figure ill try my best to make up for it by obviously first changing the action i made so it doesn't happen and secondly i figured some flowers might help me out aswell. The thing is im broke.......where should i go to pick some flowers?...What kind of flowers should i look for....wheres a good place to cut the flower when picking them...if i must ill just pick them from peoples yards =)

Picking flowers?
hey. ur sweet :) so listen..

words are better than flowers.. write a letter to her sayiong u wanted to give her diamonds, briliants, million roses.. but u think that this everything compared to her is nothing.. tell her that she is so beautiful that even the words, which can express everything are useless in front of her beauty...

i think it will help... :)
Reply:Don't pick wild flowers because it's illegal. Nick you neighbours plants instead :p

As for cutting them, cut a very long stalk (you can cut it shorter later, you can't make it longer!)

And cut at 45 degrees, it gives the biggest area to absorb water into the stem, which will help it cope with sudden loss of roots.

Also, you should remove any leaves attached near the end of the stem, so there is a long, leafless stalk. Leaves towards the flower end is ok.

Actually, this is for those kinds with strong, stick-like stems, like roses. Tulips, on the other hand have fairly flimsey stems.

It may be you do the same, I don't know about that kind, but it's likely they will get a kink in the stem very easily, and this looks awful.

Everyone loves roses, I think white with a colour tint towards the edge of the petals is paticularly attractive.
Reply:If you go the route of picking flowers from peoples yards be sure you have their permission first. Giving your girlfriend stolen flowers is more likely to make things worse rather than better.

Reply:Try a park . they do sellsome flowers at reasonable prices at your grocery store like publix
Reply:I think you could go to the grocery store and get some. Many stores sell some pretty nice little bouquets nowadays.
